Whilst normal life stalls, here at HDA we’ve been pushing forward over the past few months, building a new website, developing current staff and recruiting new ones, and working on ways to increase our contact with you, our clients.
This inaugural quarterly update is just one of the ways we’re reaching out, ensuring we’re here for you during these current difficult times and beyond.
Read on to find out what changes the last few months have brought here at HDA.
New website and rebrand
We have recently retained the services of the Yardstick Agency in Nottingham, who will be supporting us on an ongoing basis as we look to deliver our marketing campaign, helping us spread the word on the great work we’re doing here at HDA.
In partnership with the Yardstick Agency, we have put this quarterly update together – helping us keep in contact with you whilst providing insightful and useful content – and you might also have noticed a change to our branding and website.
Our new site is eye-catching, easy to navigate, spelling out what we at HDA aim to be and we can help you to achieve. We’re delighted with the results and hope you are too.
Growing the HDA team
The development and growth of our staff is vitally important to us here at HDA. We all understand the importance of training and ongoing development and the need to constantly improve the service we deliver to you.
This month HDA welcomed two new members of staff to the team, with two more to follow in the coming months.
Megan Robison and Emma Kent both joined us as Trainee Paraplanners at the start of May. Another trainee, Joe Townsend, joins us in June, with paraplanner Duncan Hensman set to start in July.
It’s not an easy time to be beginning a new career but we’re confident that all parties will rise to the unique challenges the current crisis presents – starting with a ‘virtual’ induction!
We would like to officially welcome Megan and Emma to the team and look forward to the arrival of Joe and Duncan. We wish them all the very best for their HDA careers and look forward to the first day that all four of them can join us in the office.
HDA client publishes The Train Blog in aid of NHS Charities Together
HDA client, Ted Smith, is a frequent commuter and self-confessed ‘people watcher’.
Over the past six years, he has been collecting his train-based observations in a series of blogs and has recently used his free time in lockdown to publish his musings as The Train Blog.
Available from Amazon in paperback or as a Kindle eBook, all profit from sales of the book will go to the NHS Charities Together appeal.
The book’s arrival was recently reported in the Welwyn Hatfield Times.
Funny, sad, and poignant – but never dull – add The Train Blog to your lockdown reading list and enjoy it from the comfort of your own home, whilst helping to raise money for a great cause.
Business as usual
At HDA we understand that this is a strange and concerning time, as we all worry about our own health and wellbeing and that of our friends and loved ones. The current crisis might also have led to worries about your finances.
In line with government rules, our staff here at HDA are all continuing to work remotely at this time but we are still here for you. Our current arrangements have no impact on the service we offer. In fact, apart from the option of a video call rather than a face-to-face meeting, you shouldn’t notice any difference at all in your dealings with us.
The switchboard is manned, our post is being opened and collected, and however you want to contact us, we’re available. Whether you want to process a new investment, make a withdrawal, or are just looking for advice, contact us and we can help.
